Lebron James goes to Miami.

Weeks of speculation where Lebron James, a premier NBA player and a US Olympic Gold Medalist would choose as his championship team has now come to an end. Lebron James, a former Cavaliers has chosen Miami Heat as his new home team, together with Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh, both Olympic gold medalists.

LeBron's free agency this July 1, 2010 sparked conversations whether he will stay in Cleveland or decides to go with the other team he sees a championship team. Several teams have courted him this summer, it includes New York Knicks, New Jersey Nets, Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Clippers, as well as his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers.

It is a roller coaster ride for both the fans and the executives who tried their best to get LeBron to play into their team. Calls and meetings have been made, speculations have increased and tension is really getting into the picture.

All of it ends with LeBron's decision on July 8, 2010 of what is called "The Decision" ( Of which nearly 10 million watched) that he will be going down the South Beach and join Miami Heat.

Mixed reactions from fans poured down on his decision, some of it felt betrayed while some new hope is coming. And we are going to be pretty sure that today is not the last of those fans.

Now that the Heat has LeBron James, together with Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade, will they have another championship with "The Three Kings"?

18th Birthday.

Today July 6, 2010 is my 18th birthday, or the "legal" age for "legal" matters.

I stared my morning by having breakfast on balcony, fresh air with hot drinks and meal, nice.

I went to school for my first class, Physics *dum dum dum*.

It was fine, some of my classmates were greeting me with queitly, and I said my thank you's to them. I wonder how did they know that it was my birthday? Anyways, the physics class started. It started out fine, with lessons about free fall and things. Then it suddenly became dark for us. Our professor gave us activity, a 3-item activity.

This you must know. When a professor gives you an activity with a 5 item or lower, it means that each item is a little bit edgier, i think its a way to compensate for such small number of items.

And as we predicted, it is hard. Oh sorry, its not hard, its REAL HARD. Brains will pop if you cant handle it. Formulas, analysis, and blah blah, I'm tired of it. But still its essential, so yea, we need to take it up.

I had to eat so I went to canteen and while I was there, our microbiology professor, Ma'am Briones told me that we will have a quiz then to be dismissed right after the exam.

Then I proceed to have some snack, sweet snacks in particular, i need to recharge my sugar level.

I have resumed answering the physics activity, and thank God, somehow finished it.

Scanning some notes before the quiz, trying hard not to memorize but to familiarize.
Then I did some chatting which is not approriate, I do not know what's wrong with me. Then i meddled with the cellphone I borrowed, taking pictures and such. Passing awat time..

"Teka lang si Ma'am...andyan na"

Ma'am Briones was our professor back then during our freshman years in college. She's a good professor in my opinion, cause she's not like the other teachers who are very traditional and BOOOORING!!!! All they do is work. I mean come on, you still have time for some cartoons.Ma'am Briones watches what kids of our generation watched, so yea its like having your "barkada" as your teacher. But I am not trying to suck up.

Anyways the quiz commenced, well honestly, hindi naman sa mayabang ako, pero deep inside this quiz is like just a "review test" from high school. I mean c'mon guys, we have taken it up when we are in high school.

When the quiz was over, I got a good score. But what really bothers me is that some of my classmates did not do well. Guys just as I told you before its like a "review test". Its nothing new, diba nagchemistry na tayo nung 3rd year HS tayo. And even today we have Chemistry as a basic for how many semester. So why the low scores?

Hindi naman ako sa nagdodown pero guys I know you can do better. Wag nyo lng imemorize, ifamiliarize nyo. Not for the sake of the quiz but for the sake of learning. Kaya pala sa perspective ng isang professor: frustrating.

Discrimination

I recently read a certain topic off a blog, its about the discrimination system that is happening in our society these days. Discrimination is something we should aware of, it divides and violates the equal rights of each every individual. Discrimination between and discrimination against are usually present in our society. discrimination between, which is the discernment of qualities and recognition of the differences, focused here discrimination against is the prejudicial treatment of a person or a group of people based on certain characteristics, according to wikipedia.

At almost everyone's point of view, discrimination should be cast away from our society, practicing it is the act of stupidity and felony. Discrimination should be a thing of the past, we should not let it live in our society. I have heard of people being "thrown" away from their community because they are different from them, not that they are threat nor dangerous. People have the tendency to spat at people who are different from them just to follow the norms of their society. It is understandable but we should not judge people by their difference from ours, we should not let our judgment impair our sense of understanding.

I have been inflicted with discrimination through these years, I witnessed personally what its like to be discriminated and you're not going to like it. It feels like as if you're personality is being pulled down by their judgment and minds, you're morale declines and the next thing you know is that they have taken your confidence right out of your self. Discrimination. . . do you know what's it like going to the mall while the watchful eyes of clerks are tailing as if you are going to steal anything? Try wearing simple clothes and you'll see. Well we couldn't blame those clerks placing we under their surveillance-like eyes, but please, it does not mean that that person is going to steal something. But when those higher class visit the mall, they just let them be. . . and sometimes those higher class are the ones who shoplift. . .right?

The Dawn of the end of a long time of silence

I've been idle for these past few months (if you're description of few months is 3 months). Well I'm in college now, everything is going to be busy, but I will try my best to post new entries but today only weekly because I'm only at home during weekends. There are new posts I've been working on and expected to be released next weekend. The Past and Present: Music

One thing I miss is the music when I am just a small boy. Remember the music of late 1990's and early 2000's? Those were the good times. I even wonder what happened to music today. All I hear is today is the constant banging of drums and well I hate to say this but, almost of all of the music today is not music at all, its noise. Although there are still good music today but it is overwhelmed by some rock bands whose songs are full of violence and hatred. I heard this song performed by a rock band about slippers, and the way the vocal sang it, is like shouting. Imagine that, shouting for just a pair of slippers. Some of the rock bands are good but some are not they don't sing, they yell violence.

Hate, sex, violence, depression. These are the most common ingredients of music today. What would your child be if he/she grow up to this kind of music? Wouldn't that be awful? Music wasn't like this like it was before. Few years before the music was always positive, feel-good music, no violence and hatred in it. Songs are relaxing, not rebellious, makes you feel good. Musical bands like S Club 7 and A*Teens. You can call their music cheesy but I prefer their music than today's music of negative feeling. I prefer the good old times of music than today if our music today is nothing more but yelling.

I don't know what to do.

Well its been long since I last posted a new entry here. What had I been doing after the paper research? Want to know what? Well we took up post tests, achievement tests, filling up our requirements, signing this, signing that. We've been really busy for these past few days.

And the graduation nearing, more and more pressure is presented. The sadness of leaving the school, friends and class haunts the air. You can feel it but not see it. Its a heavy thing that dwells inside each of graduating students. The sadness, why does it have to be like this? We've been so busy we didn't even realize that the graduation is just 3 weeks away (just typing it makes me feel something).

Just when things are started to get good for me, it is time for leaving. I guess I'm born to be like this.

We've been busy doing this research paper. Its been days of hard work, but no matter hard it is, it is still fun for me. I think its because I like researching very much and I don't know why. Money is important here, it is needed for encoding and printing. My post is very short because I'm doing my research paper.

The grades for the T.L.E and M.A.P.E.H were released, so the rankings changed. From 22.5 I am now 18th. It took me for a while to accept the result. I was just amazed by the result.

Its been long since I post a new post. Good news is I got a higher grade in Mathematics this 3rd Grading Period, all of the other subjects had increased except for Physics, I went down one point. Well its good enough for me. And to make things good, I ranked 22.5 from the rank of 41 last 2nd Grading. That wasn't so bad. I will try to maintain or push through to get to the top 15 at least, well its not impossible. Only one thing that stops me, it is about being "lazy" and "relaxed". I must be consistent. This 4th Grading Period I will try to conquer those factors to achieve and bop to the top.

This day is so good for me, not only because of my ascend in ranking but also in playing basketball. Today I had a percentage of 93% shooting, I felt so good about that. I played today with great aggressiveness, intensity and concentration in short I made a good hustle.

I must be consistent in these matters both academically and in words of playing.

Sorry for the inconvenience I can't come up with a good topic today. My head is full of things today, but no worries sooner or later I will post something new.

Think Critically

Here I am sitting in the front of the monitor thinking...thinking...thinking...thinking...it seems like it will take forever. I sometimes wonder what makes people write. Have you also ever wondered? Is it because people want to write for their readers? Or is it people want to express their thoughts? Some of them write for their readers and of course make big amount of money, some of them write to express their thoughts. A writer should not write for what the readers want, instead they should write of what are they thinking. It is on the readers to decide whether to read it or not. This idea was formed in my mind during my so called "mental block".

After that, an idea formed in my head. It is about judging people. Why do most people today judge rapidly and not thinking in a critical manner? Why do most people of today judge quickly, they just judge on the first impression they saw and not digging into the real reason. Some of today are judging immaturely and not critically. Why is that? Maybe the answer is inside the human mind. Or maybe judging critically requires more effort so most people don't want to spend time doing that. You can call these kind of people as "ignorant". The problem is that we apply the same skills to everyday problem solving. We do not take the time to rationalize a concept, form a conclusion or judge an issue thoroughly because we have trained ourselves to do all of this by only reading the first page of the book, as it were. Some of the problem is that when one person calls out and followed by another, the majority also follows. There is also the media, the media is a great influence to the people's mind. So if one bias information is shown, most of the people will follow it without even thinking. This is where people become zombies of media.We naturally jump to conclusions and judgments quite often. But with some programming (and many mistakes related to judgment in a rash manner) we can learn to be more critical and slow to judge. Some will never learn not to and some will. Depends on how much you can look at your past and investigate your problems, mistakes, issues, etc. One problem is that people looks into one's weakness and wrong doing and instead of making it a thing of the past they insist of making it worse. And you can call them as "hypocrites". The next time we judge think about it, we too have our own flaws.

The Car

Nothing really new happened at school today. Usual and routinely school day I might say. But I did learn something new because of my research and reading articles on the web.

Today, I was thinking of a car "If I had a car...." What is my dream car? Well...

I would love to have a car like this one. Its a Porsche Carrera GT. The Carrera GT is powered by an all-new 5.7 litre V10 engine producing 612 DIN (605 SAE) (450 kW horsepower whereas the original concept car featured a 5.5 litre version rated at 558 hp (416 kW). The Carrera GT has large side inlets and air dams that help cool the large V-10 framed by the carbon fiber rear hood. Periodical Test: Part 2

Second day of our periodical test...

First subject to take up was English.

Its a fresh start so the test was not-that-hard-test for me...*hey I'm not bragging! Its true anyone with a fresh start will feel the same*..anyway, its not much of a "hardship", I answered it smoothly. Well I arrived in school just about 3 minutes before the first period and guess what? I didn't have much time left to review! I did not review last night for I was making our project...again..I want to thank God for having me a fresh start. Thank You God!

Second subject to take up was Filipino

Its one of the best part...and why? because 4 students including me are exempted for the test, And what's the reason?...it is because we participated in a stage presentation about our province's culture and heritage. I was so relieved because for me, I think that Filipino tests are a little bit harder than the Mathematics ones, because if you didn't study in Filipino especially for literature...you'll be as soft as a tissue paper in bucket of water...anyway I got to do our unfinished project.

Lunch Break!!!

My lunch were veggies! Yay! I am tired of meat!

First in the afternoon was Physics.

This period I've got to be focused. I must. For if not, dude I'm dead goose. In this test there are little choices and more on identification. Well at first look its hard, but as I went on, I realized that its not that hard as long as I've been listening to what the teacher and discussion say. Well at the end, my conclusion is, its not that hard at all.

Second was Values Education.

The test was fine, all you got to do is choose the right and the best choice...and viola! There you have it...your answers to the test. I slept at my armchair waiting for the time to pass the papers, I woke up and I feel re freshened...what a feeling. Then I waited for some time to pass my paper. Then its not actually over yet. We have presented our group activity...*longing for the dismissal*...*sigh*...and finally its over...class dismiss...

Then we went to our adviser's department to fix some plants to their places outside. And our adviser told us that I have the highest participation/recitation in the class! Averaging 54. something...I just can't believe it! I didn't expect for that to happen, but it happened! It happened!

Periodical Test: Part 1

I didn't post yesterday for I am reviewing for the periodical test, but there are things that happened yesterday like for example, I slept very late for making a project, going home very early. OK so I guess that wasn't much interesting. Anyway last Tuesday I won and became a millionaire in Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Online Game. No, its does not have any real prize. So don't mail me for money.

What happened today?

First subject to take up this morning is Mathematics. I was relieved because its a multiple choice-test. So it means a better chance of getting fair score. Anyway that last part was just my wish.

Second is T.L.E, the test is kind of hard and confusing...*well almost all of tests are hard and confusing*...our subject teacher is out, so the student-teacher is in charge. I find the test hard, but because I don't know the answer, it is because the characters in the paper are too dull and heavy...*your eyes might get hurt*...

After lunch we had MAPEH. We expected to see our subject teacher, but news came that her mother died this morning...condolence Ma'am...since she can't come. The other teacher took place, now that teacher is known for his, let's say "ferocious" attitude, so I guess those who planned of "something" during the test didn't work that well.

Then last subject for this day we had taken is Araling Panlipunan (Social Studies). The test is fine. I just confused myself on that part where we have to solve for personal taxes.

I played some hoops after I came home.

Good to Bad Day

I wasn't able to write yesterday for some reasons.

Anyway, my day was running smoothly, I came early to the school, recite as many as possible in Mathematics, and such, until afternoon came. I was so pissed at what happened. It happened during one of the periods in the afternoon. I can't tell the exact details, but I can tell that I was totally pissed off! I have my patience but it has limitations too. Well what happened today nearly took my patience off me. I will give that person another chance , but if that person crossed the line, that will have it. I will fight for my cause whoever that person is. If it involves affecting my life, that will really have it. I will do appropriate methods for that person.

First Post: Series of Unfortunate Events

My First Post, hello world of blogging!

My first blog is not that lucky, but hey it really happened.

From the title itself, series of unfortunate events. Today is my not-so-lucky day. It started as a good and fine day, you know daily stuff, eat yummy foods (I can still taste it...), sleep, play games in the computer, I even laughed so hard . It was not until afternoon came. My face was in front of my computer monitor, the clock ticking, then my cellphone beeped. Then I accidentaly slipped my phone through my hand. Quickly, I tried to catch the phone. I did caught the phone, unfortunately, I banged my right knee on the tile floor so hard. My knee hurt a lot. Then me and my friends went to play basketball despite of my sore knee. Guess what, I only made a percentage of 30% shooting, I guess that sore knee affected my game a lot, I hope my knee will improve this week. This is the worst part. While I was playing, my teammate passed me the ball, and I felt something cold and soft...extra soft. Anyway I made the basket, then I looked at my right hand, I was shocked on what I saw , and when I smelled it, it is a positive "you-know-what"...*eeeeww* I quickly washed my hand, 5 times, I washed with Zonrox 2 times. When it was over *eeeww again* I returned to the game, unfortunately the team lost. Anyway, though my day is not that lucky, I still look forward for the next adventure.
